We are delighted to invite you to join a webinar on Thursday October 15th to discuss the future of sustainable road passenger transport in the UK as part of the green recovery, and the crucial role of zero emissions buses in delivering significant air quality improvement in our towns and cities.
Organised by BYD UK, leading provider of electric buses in the UK, supported by UK100, the leading network of local government leaders, the webinar will be chaired by Global Transport Expert and member of the Government’s Net Zero Transport Board, Leon Daniels OBE, in cooperation with former Deputy Mayor of London, Matthew Pencharz.
Electric buses will play a crucial role in the green recovery delivering significant air quality improvement in our towns and cities.
The webinar, which will include discussions with leading national and regional policy makers, NGOs, and bus industry experts, will focus on how public transportation can become a more attractive solution, and what policymakers can do to ensure the recovery places sustainable transport with clean air benefits at its heart.
Discussions will aim to demonstrate the need to build in the road to net zero as part of the economic recovery; avoiding a car-led recovery and so losing the air quality benefits of recent months; and how Government and industry can work together to deliver cleaner public transport.
We look forward to welcoming you to this insightful discussion.
